Painter's Houses III

Upon completion of the houses, each grade then presented a slideshow about the artist to the other students at the school. They also gave them bookmarks made with one of the artist's famous works.

Each student was given the task to interpret one of the assigned artist's paintings.  

These drawings were then used to decorate a house. 

Assignments:

2nd Grade: Miró

3rd Grade: Picasso

4th Grade: Van Gogh

5th Grade: Kandinsky

6th Grade: Dalí

GALICIAN BOOKMARKS

1.-Choose a Galician word that represents Galicia to you (Nai, natureza, cruceiro...) 
2.- Draw a rough draft of your bookmark using pencil. 
3.- Copy the poem onto your rough draft. Be careful of spelling! 
4.- Ask your art teacher to approve your draft. Make sure your writing is clear and legible. 
5.- Transfer your approved idea onto your bookmark. 
6.- Use watercolours, crayons, coloured pencils or markers to complete your bookmark. 
7.- Sign your finished work.
